What Can I Expect?

Coaching with Me & Mo is about working together as a team to help you improve and feel better in any area of your life.

A coaching session with Me & Mo lasts for 50 minutes.  The session begins with a conversation to reflect and review any previous work or goals that we have set together.  Typically, clients decide the focus of conversation and coaching. However, we understand that for some people this can be intimidating and we are trained to work with you reflexively, this means that we can guide the session as required to suit you.  Sessions with Me & Mo are enjoyable, there is no pressure on you to perform.  All we ask is for mutual respect and honesty in our working relationship with you.

During coaching sessions, we explore what is going on in your life at the moment and help you gain clarity. If you are enjoying something or are good at something, we will help you acknowledge it and live your life according to your strengths.  Alternatively, if you are not feeling fulfilled or are experiencing challenges and difficulties, we will work with you to become aware of these, understand them, and explore strategies to manage or overcome them. Once we both have a clearer picture we work with patience and understanding, coaching and supporting you for as long as you need, whether you are booking a session at a time or if you are looking longer term and booking six sessions in advance.

Coaching sessions can be about acceptance of circumstances, changes, examining progress, or be solution-focused.  Together we can develop goals for you to work towards, whether they are short- or long-term.  You are responsible and accountable for the effort you make.  For our part, Me & Mo take considerable time preparing thoroughly for your sessions and reflecting afterward.  The work we do during sessions is just a part of the dedicated service we provide.  

Importantly, while coaching is an enjoyable experience for your self-discovery, it does not necessarily mean that it is easy.  Sometimes, coaching can be challenging because it requires you to be honest with yourself and may require you to challenge your longstanding beliefs and behaviours. 

Coaching is a dynamic process.  To make the most of your coaching, it requires you to make a commitment to yourself, to give deep thought, and take action where necessary.  Nevertheless, consider this: the rest of your life is worth the time and effort that you invest during coaching.  You owe it to yourself to live your most fulfilling and contented life.
