Please note that coaching and support provided by Me & Mo does not replace medical advice, psychological or therapeutic counselling. I will work with you honestly and professionally. If I consider that you would benefit from additional or different support services, I will tell you.

ADHD

Coaching can be of real benefit to those with ADHD. Frequently, coaching may focus on:

  • Pre- and post-diagnosis support: understanding, acceptance, and moving forwards.
  • Maintaining focus and motivation by devising short- and long-term goals in all areas of life, including in education and the workplace.
  • Developing and using organisational skills and strategies.
  • Understanding emotions and improving wellbeing.
  • Awareness in relationships, from relating to friends and family through to dating romantically.
  • Strategies to achieve more in the workplace.
  • Increase openness to learning new skills in areas where you experience challenges.
We have experience in supporting partners and family members of those with ADHD – our services are open to you too.

Mental Health

Me & Mo advocate looking after your mental health in the same way that you would look after your physical health. In fact, we know that physical and mental are inextricably linked – they are both components of your wellbeing. Developing self-care and support systems can be both preventative and used as management during times when your mental health is stressed. Me & Mo support you to help yourself, this is a solid foundation for moving forwards. Areas for coaching and support can focus on whatever you find challenging, but we frequently find that establishing an effective self-care routine that works for you can be really helpful.  This may incorporate:

  • Sleeping habits.
  • Healthy eating.
  • Movement and exercise.
  • Relationships.
  • Goal setting.
  • Recreational activities.
  • Social activities.
  • Relaxation techniques.
Every individual’s self-care routine is a process of working out what suits them best, and everyone is different. We ask that you approach developing your self-care routine with kindness and an openness to try different strategies.
